Merzouga Desert Excursion – 4X4 Desert Tour

Merzouga Desert Tour Starts: between 09:00 / 16:00

Firstly, we will visit a museum where you can see the old cars of many countries, and then from there to a small village called Khamlia it’s 10 km from the center of Merzouga.

While drinking tea, you can enjoy the Berber music and make videos for your album…

Later, we will cross a river to get to the old French village and the mountain, where they were mining the black-stone minerals,

which can be used for making the jewellery and loved by the local women for its make-up properties (very effective eyeliner).

After that we will take a peek at the Nomadic families’ lifestyle: see how they live, drink some tea together.

If desired, you can also have a lunch there ( authentic Berber pizza).  Afterwards we will drive back to the hostel crossing the dunes. You can rest assured, we will make a stop on a dune for your pictures…

And last, but not least, you can use that time to reconnect with the earth and enjoy the barefooted walk , feeling the sand between your toes.
